New Zealand is an outdoor lover’s dream destination, and this trip is the outdoor lover’s dream itinerary.

Start your vacation in Nelson, located on the doorstep of the spectacular Abel Tasman National Park. Nelson is the sunniest region of New Zealand and offers plenty of golden beaches to explore, local vineyards to savor a sip at and award-winning restaurants with menus full of local produce.

Explore the Abel Tasman National Park starting with a cruise from the Park’s southern tip to Totaranui following the rugged coastline. Over three days you will walk the isolated northern beaches and kayak the sheltered southern coast with support throughout allowing you to choose the amount of walking and kayaking you do each day. Abel Tasman National Park may be New Zealand’s smallest National Park, but it is a coastal paradise perfect for hiking, swimming, snorkeling, sun bathing and sailing.

Travel onto New Zealand’s adventure capital of Queenstown and let its natural beauty charm you. Nestled in beside the mysterious Lake Wakatipu, in the Southern Lakes district of New Zealand, Queenstown is a cosmopolitan haven offering limitless adventure, southern wine and cuisine, and breathtaking alpine scenery. The lake gleans in the summer sun, and snow clad mountains tower above the township in winter making it a great place to visit all year round.

Leave Queenstown behind and take a day trip out to the beautiful Milford Sound. Follow the shores of Lake Wakatipu, through the rolling countryside, into Te Anau and along the spectacular Milford Road with its impressive alpine scenery. Board a nature cruise and set sail with picture postcard views of tumbling waterfalls, towering mountains and wildlife sightings. After the cruise you will stop at Milford Airport and board a flight back to Queenstown with panoramic views of glaciers, rivers, lakes and rainforests.

Back in Queenstown you will journey deep into the heart of the world-renowned Mt Aspiring National Park and get close to nature as you paddle gently on crystal clear waters in your inflatable Funyak ‘canoe’ and experience high-speed, adrenaline-pumping fun as you jet boat on the Dart River.

Now its time to mount your bike and explore New Zealand’s famous scenery from the seat as you cycle the Otago Central Rail Trail over five days. You have plenty of time to explore the Central Otago area as you pass picturesque vineyards, rushing rivers, old gold mining towns, classic suspension bridges, awesome gorges and through tunnels all while surrounded by New Zealand’s stunning outdoors.

End your trip in Dunedin with its architectural treasures including soaring cathedral spires, magnificent Flemish-style railway station, fine banks and office blocks, nineteenth-century castle, old university buildings and a neo-gothic convent.

Enhance your New Zealand vacation with a Maori experience in your New Zealand itinerary. Maori culture is an integral part of Kiwi life and adds a unique, dynamic experience for visitors.

Explore inspiring scenery largely untouched for thousands of years, from the mountains of the majestic Southern Alps to the sand dunes, reefs and surf of the rugged West Coast on the Hollyford Track.

Journey through the mythical legends and step in to the world of Maori at Skyline Queenstown, to experience the fearsome haka and a stunning poi display. Queenstown’s Dart River Jet Safaris is a unique combination of breathtaking ‘world heritage’ scenery, exhilarating wilderness jet boating, Mäori heritage and inspiring adventure.
